Headteacher's Message

As our academic year draws to a close we can happily look back on an exceptionally busy and successful year. Thank you for continuing to support the school and your children with enthusiasm and commitment. We believe we provide an excellent education for our pupils, with a high quality curriculum, and with your support we will continue to strive to make your child’s experience here an outstanding one.

I hope that you have followed our activities and accomplishments throughout the year via our termly newsletters and enjoyed the many events that have completed our year. We know as a staff team that we have packed a lot into the past three terms.

This term we say a fond farewell to our multi-talented Year 2 boys as they transit to their new schools. I wish them well and do so in the certain knowledge that they will relish the challenges ahead. Good luck to them all!

We also say goodbye and a huge Thank You to several members of staff; Mrs Crabtree, Mrs Khan, Mrs Clark, and Miss Dennis who all leave us for pastures new. They have all been valued members of our team and we shall miss each and every one of them individually. I wish them well in their new ventures.

I know you will join me in welcoming Miss Hannah Hickman who will join the Year 1 team, Miss Stephanie Jenkins who joins us as Head of Year 2 and Miss Sarah Studd who also joins Year 2 as Mrs Khan starts her Maternity leave. Mrs Suzie Wingove joins the EYFS team as our new Outdoor classroom assistant.

We also look forward to our new boys who join the ‘Squirrels’ family in EYFS in September.

I wish you all a fun filled and safe holiday until your return on September 4th.

With best wishes

Tracey Buck
