After working so hard in French this year, the boys were rewarded with a Fun French day!
Boys came dressed in blue, white and red, and lots of berets and Breton tops were spotted throughout the school (Thank you dear Parents for your support and enthusiasm!). The teachers also looked very “chic” in their creative French outfits!
We drank a delicious French drink called “Grenadine”, and tasted the very famous croissants, pains au chocolat and pains aux raisins, provided by PAUL Boulangerie. Many French lessons and activities took place throughout the day.
In the afternoon, a Theatre Company came to run two plays (all in French!) of “Boucle d’or” (read Goldilocks) and “Les Trois Petits Cochons (The Three Little Pigs). Some of the boys even took part in the play and everyone had fun learning some new words.
Quelle journee fantastique! Thank you to Friends of Squirrels for your precious contribution in making this event come to life.
