1C Class Assembly

On Thursday 16th November 2017, 1C performed their class assembly about Titanic to the school and parents with confidence well beyond their years!

Since the beginning of our Year 1 topic on Oceans and Seas, 1C have been fascinated by the disaster that was the sinking of the Titanic. Every day they have asked questions, read books about it and done their own research at home so it was the obvious theme for their assembly!

Each boy took on the role of a historical character who was on board the ship, whether they were 1st class, 3rd class, crew, male or female! The boys had quite a challenge with this topic as there were lots of facts, times and dates to tell the audience which meant complicated lines to learn!

1C did an amazing job learning their lines, speaking and acting with expression and volume, singing beautifully and putting on an excellent performance. I am so proud of all of the hard work they put into it both at school and at home.

Thank you very much to the parents for supporting the boys with their lines and providing such brilliant costumes. I am sure you are all Titanic experts now!
